Ethan Alsruhe (Ian) was last seen in Quarryworks' "Long Day's Journey Into Night" as Jamie and as Aaronow in the Classic Theatre's critically acclaimed "Glengarry Glen Ross." His previous outing with Green Candle was as Count Gregor in "Fools" and among other roles has played Dogberry in Essex Players' "Much Ado About Nothing" and Donny in "Landscape of the Body." He has a BA in Theater from Connecticut College and is studying Acting for Film with Richard Waterhouse.

DOSTIE (Set Design, Construction, Dan) is a versatile visual artist, a custom picture framer, production designer, and performance artist. His works have been exhibited extensively at Burlington venues including the Firehouse Art Gallery and Union Station. He will be exhibiting new artwork during the run of Art the Father November 2008 at the One Half Lounge on Church St. He has presented several Live Art Demonstrations and Performances at the South End Art Hop (2004, 2006, 2008), the Winter is a Drag Ball at Higher Ground (2004 - 2008), on Church St. during the culmination of the 2008 Discover Jazz Festival, and most recently at the One Half Lounge calling the 2008 Presedential Election live at the Dostie Report. In January he will compete with Team USA/Vermont at the 2009 Budweiser International Snow Sculpting Championships in Colorado. This will be Dostie's third engagement with the Green Candle Theatre Company having previously designed sets for and having made his stage acting debut in Aaron Masi's adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's The Nose in June 2008, he also designed the set for The Next State in Fall 2006. Dostie designed sets and props for both of Sweet Racket Productions' runs of Seth Jarvis' The Once and Future Ubu in 2005 and 2006. He has also enjoyed building many odd set pieces for the 2006, 2007, and 2008 performances by the Spielpalast Cabaret. In April 2008 he designed the set for Heat and Hot Water Productions' Seeking. Dostie turns custom frames at the Frame Game in South Burlington, is the manager of the BOX Art Studio, is a member of Green Candle Theatre Company's Board of Directors, and also sits on the Board of Directors for Art's Alive serving as both Vice President and Treasurer.


Michael Jordan Evans (Playwright, Director, Founder and Director of the Burlington Theatre Lab) ... has enjoyed a lifelong fascination with the theatre and all things theatrical. Amongst others, he has produced/directed Hugo Beti’s “Goat Island”, Paul Rudnick’s Jeffrey, David Mamet’s Speed The Plow and American Buffalo and Neil Simon’s Fools. Michael’s acting credits include Henry and Richard in separate productions of The Lion in Winter, Tommy in Steve Goldberg’s He Said, She Said, Val in Tennessee William’s Orpheus Descending and earlier this year the intrepid Inspector Atrovsky in Aaron Masis’s brilliantly grotesque adaption of Nikol Gogol’s The Nose.


Tracey Girdich (Stage Manager) This is Tracey’s 125th theatrical event she has helped bring to the stage since she graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a BA in Theatre Arts in 1987. She then went on to study acting at Circle in the Square in NYC, Atlantic Theatre Company's P.A.W. program and with Vermont artists Mark Nash, Tom Carder, and Michael Evans. Tracey has acted for film, radio, and stage and has performed for and collaborated with prominent Vermont artists such Josh Bridgman (Silent Invasion), Steve Goldberg and One-Take Productions, Seth Jarvis and Sweet Racket Productions, Kim Bent and Lost Nation Theatre Company, Jim Lantz, and Aaron Masi among several others. She has performed regionally at the Sanford Meisner Theatre in NYC and internationally at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Tracey is a founding member of Green Candle Theatre Company and the current Artistic Director. If you look closely Tracey can also be found backstage at the House of Lemay's "Winter is a Drag Ball", Pride Festival events, the South End Art Hop, and as a recurrent house manager for the Spielpalast Cabaret.

Rosemary Grannis (Costume Designer) Rosie grew up on the coast of Maine, her passion for making beautiful clothes started in the late 1990's while working for "Recollections" a Victorian clothing company, she co-designed and sewed with them for six years. Rosie has also done costumes for a number of local plays in Maine and most recently did the costumes for Green Candle Theatre's "The Nose". She now lives in Burlington Vermont and works for a local jewelry designer. Rosie continues to "get her hands dirty" as often as possible making her own clothing designs and some commissioned work.


Brad "Bear" Ingalls (Lighting Designer) ... ... is a professional stagehand and lighting designer who has been involved in technical theatre for over 30 years. Bear considers the theatre to be a major force in his life. He enjoys all of the technical aspects, but his passion is for light design, be it for live music, theatre or corporate events. Bear is also the access coordinator at VCAM, a job which he also greatly enjoys. For as much as he is passionate about light design and technical theatre, he wants you to know that he loves nothing as much as his family.


Larry Needham (Art) has ppeared in the following plays: After Magritte by Tom Stoppard; The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard; Love, Sex, and the IRS; Who Killed Santa Claus?; Jeffrey by Paul Rudnick; and Interior Demolition with a Brando Obsession by Steve Goldberg

Aaron Masi (Producer) is the Treasurer of the Green Candle Theatre Company and is working ferverishly with fellow Board members to bring the company to its rightful place as one of Vermont's premier professional theatre groups. This past June Aaron wrote, directed, stage managed, and produced an adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's The Nose at FlynnSpace. He is currently working on a staged adaptation of the children's story Frog Belly Rat Bone by Timothy Basil Ering, and he is writing an original pirate play. Aaron will be seen this winter in Lost Nation's winter festival as Phillip in Lyle Kessler's Orphans. He is also a full-time teacher, father to Isara Jade Masi, and husband to Connie Coleman. Aaron is delighted to be able to help Michael bring his heartfelt piece to Vermont audiences, and thanks the cast, crew, and designers for their commitment and hard work.
